Wealth.
It’s in we.
Wealth was never monetary.
They made us believe our worth was tied to a dollar amount.
They couldn’t account for the spirit we have, the way that we place our hands in soil and grow crops much like Te Fiti had.
Pricelocking the freedom.
Brainwashing the Kingdom.
Made us believe all we were was chained and struggle.
Not sharing that they were scared of who we were before enslavement.
Who they strip down for containment.
Not knowing it was never a lesson we needed to be taught.
What’s etched in our DNA could never be bought.
You can read every book in the British library, and never be taught.
The ways in which our bloodlines
Don’t need to open trade lines
We were never on the decline
Even when they made us think we were behind
We like fine wine we only get better with time.
Cause you could only convince us but for so long.
Those whispers be come strong song
We hear it in our heart beats
We feel it in our skin
We then begin to defend
The things we were never taught
Uploaded and deposited before we had our first thought.
You see, wealth was never monetary.
They stripped us thinking that if they scrambled us and made us separate it would prevent the necessary.
But Spirit has spoken.
Not just to this generation
Ancestrally coded.
Cycles been broken.
Now we get to envoke everything they THOUGHT they’d stolen.
